Dr Poche, with his long pointed nose, his large hat and his large red coat, is part of the heritage of Franco-Belgian comics. Born at the end of the 1970s in the Spirou magazine, he immediately blew away a whole generation of readers and young authors. From its first part ‘Il est minuit Dr Poche’, Wasterlain introduces a poetry and fantasy that are still new in comics.
Marc Wasterlain’s Dr Poche is finally receiving the showcase it deserves: a complete set of the adventures of the kind doctor with the red hat and the long nose.
There’s also a whole load of unedited material to be discovered in the form of short stories never before published in albums.
