Brazil, 1949. During a canoe trip up a tributary of the Amazonian river, a photographer comes across an English health clinic run by a reverend. Just before he dies, the photographer gives the reverend some strange photos. The reverend takes them to the British Consulate at Manaus, the capital city of the Amazonas state. In one of the photos, you can make out some kind of creature, with nothing even remotely human about it. MI6 is notified, and it’s not long before they get special agent Miss Austin on the case!
