The youngest Soupetard’s best friend is called Chervil; he’s rather fond of carrots (which is relatively normal for a rabbit!). It is through the eyes of young Soupetard that we discover a picturesque region of the French countryside, and the joys of being a little boy. Steaming hot chocolate, bread and jam for breakfast, holidays by the sea, camping with friends, school and the eternal schoolmistress, the first motorbike ride (with Soupetard the elder!), first love and all those events essential to the growing-up process.
