In the forest, no one can hear you scream… A company has organized a major zeppelin expedition to ‘the Continent’, a heavily forested region that is largely unexplored, but known to be rich in natural resources. A small base has been set up there, and is waiting impatiently for the supplies carried by the zeppelin, which will return with a cargo of the minerals extracted there. The problem is that the zeppelin’s captain, crude, misogynistic and alcoholic, is none too pleased with two of his crew: his female second-in-command (Luanne), who dares to stand up to him, and the ship’s new intern, Childéric, a daddy’s boy who is pampered, cowardly, and disarmingly naïve. What’s more, the captain seems to be concealing a secret second cargo on board…in fact, he seems to be running a smuggling operation in parallel with the legitimate transport! Caught in a terrible storm, the zeppelin crashes in the middle of the Continent’s vast forest. There the crew discover the Continent’s terrible secret: it is a single living ecosystem, in which animals and plants are intertwined…and it takes the crash-landing as a personal insult! The crew manage to reach the base, which they find under a state of permanent siege. A parasite introduced by the humans, and which has since mutated, seems to have some connection to the situation. Lost and isolated in the middle of the huge forest, the survivors will have to fight for their lives and try to understand the root cause of their danger…
