On that morning of March 15, 2000, police officer Vincent Revel never imagined that he was about to save the life of a young man — Alexei — on the Metro… and, in so doing, destroy his own. Marc Fourot, for his part, couldn’t guess that he would be trapped in the Metro after Alexei’s attack.
Eight years later…
Alexei has resumed a ‘normal’ life after his traumatic experience on the Metro. Today he heads a technology company, ‘Xeitech’… and he’s also the head of a drug-running network.
Marc has been unemployed ever since he lost his job a few months after the incident on the Metro. Devastated, he has sunk bit by bit into isolation and madness, obsessed with inventing reasons for the tragedy.
Today, his only goal is to punish those responsible for his current state of degradation.
Meanwhile,Vincent has become a lieutenant in the police. He is currently investigating a recent murder in a Paris business office: a horrifically violent homicide, in which the victim was killed by blows from a fire extinguisher…
