Magnum Photos and Aire Libre joined forces in 2014 to create a
collection of books in which comic strips tell the story behind
photography and in which the most famous photos of the past 70 years are
described through a comic strip account.
As an extra to this view of the great events in modern history, the
partners decided to go even further by giving combined teams of
photographers and illustrators carte blanche.
The result of this cross-vision and shared experience is a selection of
unusual and completely original images that will be offered to the
public in the form of high-quality finish coffee-table books.
