The principle of Reporter is simple: we follow a young French journalist sent all over the world to report on events that have marked contemporary history. In the first volume, he is sent to the United States in 1966 to document the movements of the civil rights of African Americans. He follows the march of Selma and witnesses the assassination of Malcolm X. The story mixes contemporary history, journalism and adventure in a novel form with a recurrent and likeable hero.
