France, early 1970’s, three women, three lives and three unwanted pregnancies. They decide to go to England on a bus chartered by the Freedom Movement of abortion and contraception. Florence Cestac and Tonino Benacquista sign a rare piece of great humanity, sensitive and often funny about a delicate issue; abortion. Through beautiful portraits of women, Des Salopes et des Anges does not judge, but perceptively manages to question the modern perspective. A must-read.
