Born in Saudi Arabia, a country that offers him no future because of his Chadian nationality, Mohammed El Gorani decides to go and study in Karachi, Pakistan at the age of 14. Two months after he arrives, he is sold to the American government by the Pakistani secret services, who claim he belongs to Al‐Qaida. He finds himself in the fast lane to a living hell. He is imprisoned and tortured in Afghanistan before being taken to Guantanamo, where he is subjected to routine torture and interrogation.
