It’s 1970.
Étienne Robial and Florence Cestac have opened a bookshop called Futuropolis
and created a publishing house of the same name. In her (rare) free moments,
Cestac scrawls a transgender character on her block calendar; half animal
(Mickey Mouse) and half man (Detective Harry Dickson). A little while later, a
first eponymous album is released, sometime in late 1980. It’s followed up by
five other albums, all lined up beneath the glorious Futuropolis banner!
