Journal d’une bataille is the story of an inner battle. It’s a diary in which Cyril Pedrosa offers 92 drawings, complemented by texts written over the course of several months, but which do not constitute extensions of the illustrative part. A fragmentary but regular “autobio-graphic” style of writing, which enables one of the most innovative and popular authors of his time to talk about his research into drawing, as well as his observations of the world over a period spanning from June 2022 to December 2023.
