At the end of the life cycle, the souls of the deceased reach
the portal of rebirth. However, they are sometimes unable
to pass through and materialize in the form of a “kiroho.”
Some people (called “spirit passers”) are able to see them.
Following a wave of strange disappearances in a French coastal
town, the mayor calls upon Professor Charles, a kiroho specialist.
Accustomed to being the last resort and quite intrigued by the
mayor’s story, Professor Charles agrees to come to the town’s aid.
But at what cost?
