When he left San Francisco to go to Korea, Billy Summer thought that he was simply granting his grandmother’s last wish – she never had the chance to pay her respects to her husband, who died 60 years ago fighting in the Korean war. Billy is happy to go because it will give him a chance to think about his relationship with Emily, and maybe even meditate on his ideas about destiny. He could never believe in fate, of course… some people are far too easily led away from their own path… This is the first complete work from Olivier Grenson, whose talent for dialogue really shines here.
