A man walks alone. A port, a town. Further on, he follows a railway
track as an escape route, the trees and the mountain, his ultimate
destination, gets closer and closer. The man remembers. Snatches from
the past, snatches from life. A woman, a soldier, an old couple,
encounters. The man asks himself: how do you find your own tune among
the world’s cacophony?
In “Le Chant des Baleines”, Edmond Baudoin tells an intimate story where
text, lines and colours come together in subtle and violent harmony.
