Since her meeting with the great writer Bernard Chalenton, Claudine’s life seems to have stopped. She is obsessed by a book of this author – Mr. White – that she has been reading and reading over again for nearly two years. Her daughter – Colette – whom she abandoned at birth, decides to try to communicate with the psychologically fragile woman.
