Louis Levasseur is a literary man. But he has had a writer’s block for ages.
But the discovery of a diary could get in out of this rough spot. The diary belongs to Léa, a young bride who has just moved out from Louis’ building. At first glance, there is nothing unusual about this diary, only commonplaces and mundane stories. Nothing really interesting, but one day, suddenly, Lea has forgotten how do the white goods work around her house. Why can’t she read the instructions? She needs to find a solution, her marriage is at stake.
Louis uses this idea to write his story: the weird combat of a woman against the natural order of things.
The book is a bestseller. Louis cannot write anything else. He does not even want to. He only dreams of meeting the real Lea. The one he followed day after day, struggling with instructions manuals.
Until one day…
