Yang Hao shares his time between school, playing video games with his friends, and his life at home. He’s also at the age where we do things that we aren’t always proud of and that we’d like to forget… Such as hanging out with people that our parents wouldn’t like. Then there’s his father, who’s finally home again after being gone for a long time for work. His father picks him up from school, protects him from the older kids, understands him… At least, that’s what Yang Hao had envisioned. But things turn out very differently…
A school assignment with the theme “describe your father” will be Yang Hao’s opportunity to take the idealized version of his father down from its pedestal, hone a new version based on reality, and grow in the process.
