Lova disappears in the forests of the Ardennes. Eight years later she is
found, living among the wolves. Naked, covered with wounds, wild. Then
the delicate work of the re-education of the wolf-child begins. Thanks
to her mother Catherine, the progress is spectacular: rediscovered
words, snatches of memories, smiles torn from the nothingness. But Lova
must fight with all her strength against the call of her brethren the
wolves: a terrible struggle, moving, and with an uncertain ending.
