It is 1934. In the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, within the Jardins du Trianon, Maud, a mature and elegant woman, is sketching the gardens. Suddenly, her dog runs off, heading for a spot where the queen Marie Antoinette often liked to go. Shock and amazement! – The dog discovers the queen herself, and her court ladies, as if they come there across the centuries! Going after the dog, Maud finds him… and also feels a presence she can’t explain. On returning home, Maud must face the son of her husband, who died two years ago and left her his fortune. She suspects her stepson of being interested in her, or more so in her money than for her beautiful eyes… But her real source of unease is the presence that she continues to feel, but cannot see… until the day when the phantom of Marie Antoinette appears to her! This ghost reveals to Maud a dreadful secret: part of the Queen’s body was abandoned in the ditch, where today a chapel stands. The queen asks Maud, who has certain psychic abilities, to find her body, so that she can finally rest in peace…
