Inspired by 1950s sci-fi, “Mutafukaz” combines contemporary ingredients like hip-hop and wrestling. This mix makes for a series with a dark, tense, irony-soaked atmosphere. Angelino, a young loser like thousands of others at Dark Meat City, is squatting in a seedy hotel room in Rios Rosas with his friend Vinz. His daily life goes by slowly until a scooter accident, at which point he’ll be thrown into a whirlwind of unimaginable troubles. The recent feature film “Mutafukaz” and its dissident hip-hop soundtrack were received with great critical acclaim.
