The series features a delightful cast of characters: Moizelle Jeanne, Gaston’s love interest (who doesn’t pick up on any of the signals she sends); M. De Mesmaecker, the irascible businessman who can never sign contracts; Prunelle, Gaston’s stressed-out boss and favorite victim of his inventions, and so on. “Gaston” is without doubt the funniest series in the history of Franco-Belgian comics, with expressive, ultra-dynamic graphics.
