David Crook

The life and story of David Crook, a communist who fought against Franco and spied for the KGB, and whose groundbreaking writings changed the way the world looked at China. It was there that this revolutionary Englishman, born in London in 1910, spent most of his life. He witnessed a country undergoing tremendous upheaval and cultural revolution, which Crook came to know through his years in prison, and which he never abandoned, remaining until his death at the age of 90.
