We ingest more than 100,000 particles per year, the equivalent of a coat
hanger (21 g) per month. Plastic on our plate, plastic on the beach, plastic on
the farm, plastic in the sea, plastic in the soil… these days, plastic is everywhere,
like the air we breathe, and as such, it is well worth writing a book
