Fifty years have passed. The Indians have been forced into special
reserves, under horrific living conditions. In this environment, Amos, a
sixteen year old Sioux torn from his cultural roots, is confronted by
the ghosts of his bewildered people: alcoholism, racism, violence,
poverty…The adolescent learns that he is the great-great-grand son of
«The one who is born twice». Supported by his people, Amos grasps the
reality of his healing powers, of the nobility of his race and of the
