Back in the 70s, Serge Clerc made his entrance (with a bang) into European sci-fi comics, a genre that was, at that time, still in its infancy. As an illustrator for the specialized magazine “Métal Hurlant,” he produced a mound of sketches, covers, short stories and parodies until the day he started creating full albums, such as “Captain Futur” and “Sam Bronx et les robots.” Clerc maintained a devoted relationship with the science-fiction genre for nearly ten years. This compilation retraces his steps. With an introduction by Stan Barets, this work explores both galaxies and panels, offering us a one-way ticket to the stars…!
