When she finds out she is pregnant, Magda decides to travel across Morocco to find the man she loves, and join him in deciding their future together. She is accompanied by an unknown young girl, who seems to be lost; a girl Magda once took in, and now meets again, completely out of the blue, on the road. And so begins a strange journey for Magda, to the heart of the desert and the depths of herself, facing the ghosts of her existence.
