Somewhere between earth and sky, way up in the highest mountains, just beneath the clouds, live F’murr’s heroes. Athanase, a dreamy, pensive shepherd, lives among a group of unusually intelligent sheep, a much-admired ram called Romuald, a happy sheepdog, a pretty, short-skirted shepherdess, and a number of other characters passing through the summits of the land.
