“Le Choucas” gets a new look. By adopting the same drawing and colouring techniques as those first used in the very striking “Aigle sans orteils”, Christian Lax gives his character a new dimension. The time was right to let the detective of the book’s title operate on a different scale, and he can now spread his wings between new, large-format covers. A new technique, new format, and also a new volume in the series. “Le Choucas” has a whole new set of adventures in “Les Tribulations du Choucas”, he certainly has not finished wandering the world just yet. Just as well, because we want more!
