Lionel, the robot double of Terrien Lorrain, mysteriously dissappeared on the planet Sidar. Guided by Xaog, a Siderian native, and helped by the Resident, an administrator sent by Earth, his master sets out to look for him. He will have to face deadly creatures and both strange and terrifying phenomena to find the trace of his robot alter ego, while there is a complete colonial crisis happening. The Earth has chosen to withdraw from Sidar, abandoning the Xressiens, a race of destructive conquerors. By saving Lionel, would he be saving Sidar?
