Adrián was born in 1980 in Granada, Spain. From 1998 to 2002, he studied Fine Arts in Granada and Bologna, Italy, then went to study animation and cinema in Madrid for three years. He began working as a freelance designer, animator, and illustrator before being contacted by the publishing house Ankama in 2008. He started by illustrating several albums including “Le Corbeau noir” in 2010 and “Remington” (volumes 1, 2, and 3) in 2010/11. Then, in 2013, he started working on the script and artwork of the “Tangomango” trilogy. In 2014 and 2015, he also worked in Lille as a storyboarder and character designer for the “Wakfu” series. In 2017, Adrián joined the publishing houses Comix Buro and Glénat with the diptych “L’Orphelin de Perdide,” alongside Régis Hautière. A two-volume adaptation of Stefan Wul’s novel, published in 2018/19. He is currently working on the heroic fantasy series “Le Roi Louve” with Denis Lapière and Émilie Alibert (Dupuis; “The Wolf Queen,” Europe Comics).
