Nicolas Antona is a French writer, born in 1974. He grew up watching the TV program “Récré A2” and reading mangas such as the “Chevaliers du Zodiaque”.
Nicolas says that his writing has been influenced by many different stories including Chris Claremont’s “X-Men,” Don Lawrence’s “Storm,” and Raymond Calbuth’s “Gai Luron.” One of his greatest influences however was the graphic novel “7 vies de l’épervie” by Patrick Cothias and André Julliard.
Nicolas released his first graphic novel in January 2016, entitled “La tristesse de l’éléphant,” collaborating with the illustrator Nina Jacqmin and the Enfants Rouges publishing house. Since then, he’s been a prolific writer, having written half a dozen other works, including “Nihasa” and “Lady Whitechapel.”
In the near future, he is set to collaborate with Nina Jacqmin again to release “Le Secret de Miss Greene” (Le Lombard/Europe Comics).
