He started working at the T.V.A animation studios at Éditions Dupuis, though he continued to keep in touch with cartoons via short stories in Spirou where he launched the character “Flagada”, which soon appeared on the main pages of the magazine in the form of strips, complete stories and finally stories in episodes with texts by Bom.
He published three illustrated story albums for children, presenting “Bigoudi, le petit hérisson frisé” in the “Collection du Carrousel” and drafted several stories for Will (two “Antonin” albums) and Rémy Dubois (“Grand Coq”).
In 1968, he became a layout artist for Spirou and worked more regularly on cartoons.
In 1983 his great passion for motorbikes led him to create the “Motard” series of comic strips, which were increasingly successful due to their stable of strong characters and the range of particularly inventive puns. His heroes, who are completely off their trolleys, offer a delicious view of the world of two-wheelers: Will Ing, Lafrime, Naze, Gamelle, Spidi, Billy the Kick, Beat and Duhon will all mourn for a long time their creator, who died on the 20 April 1993. He leaves behind ten albums crackling with humour.
