After those first works where he learned the ropes, he turned towards the Flemish press and illustrated during six years the Wolf humoristic half-page in the daily papers HET VOLK and HET LAATSTE NIEUWS, under the pseudonym Dust. and with the collaboration of Anch (Rudi Rombauts). Two albums were published in 1990 by the Oranje editions (“Het roze kristal”, “De hellehond”). It is at the STANDAARD, for the weekly SUSKE EN WISKE WEEKBLAD that he launched in 1993 the semi-realists characters from “Sarah en Robin” (five albums from 1996) and collaborated to the inking of five of the Sam’s albums written and realised by Jan Bosschaert. In 1994, he has equally illustrated a local album about the history of the town of Courtrai (Uitgeverij Ronde Tafel Kortrijk).
He become a character designer and key layouter for an Anvers studio of animated drawings and in the same time internationalising his career by launching alone the fantastic series “Coma” published by the Glénat editions ( three volumes up to this day : “Vincent” in 2002, “Dana” in 2003, “Demain peut-être”… in 2004). He was chosen by the Editions Dupuis and the scriptwriter Alcante for the illustration of the fourth part of “Pandora Box” (“La gourmandise”, in 2005).
