Paris-born Eric Stalner began his comic career as one half of a creative team with his brother. Together they drew, and sometimes wrote, from 1989 to 2000, publishing such series as “Le Boche” and “Le Fer et le feu” (both with publisher Glénat). After the duo split up, he began to collaborate with several different authors, most frequently Pierre Boisserie, with whom he created “La Croix de Cazenac” (Dargaud). Later, from 2006 to 2010, he undertook a new solo project called “La Liste 66” (Dargaud; Europe Comics/Cinebook in English, “The Route 66 List”), a series that is part spy thriller and part noir novel.
