Born in Amiens in 1978, Nicolas Hitori De has been interested in comics and illustration from a very young age. In 2001 he began publishing his own books and fanzines and studied fine arts in Paris.
In 2004 he interned at the Disney Accademia in Milan and began publishing his work in children’s magazines, advertisements, television, on websites and in the music industry. He has participated in a great number of exhibitions and festivals and remains active in the life of his hometown. In 2008, for example, he drew half of a fresco covering construction work happening in the center city, and has designed posters for important cultural events in Amiens.
He is currently working on several comics projects, including the series “Mia & Co” with the writer/artist Vanyda (Dargaud 2016, Europe Comics 2017).
