With a Degree in Fine Arts, specialized in Design, Jesús Alonso Iglesias worked in the studio of José María Álvarez, and after that, spent five years in the Animation Studio Milímetros, SA, creating layouts, storyboards and character designs for several TV series (“Pippi Calzaslargas”, “Renade”, “Street Sharks”, “Todos los Perros van al Cielo”…), and animation movies (“Los Tres Reyes Magos”, “La Colina del Dragón”). Then, he was assigned as Pre-production Chief at series like “Altair” and movies like “El Cid”. He also worked in advertising, at companies like Remo Asatsu, Remo D6, Bassat Ogilvy, ACH&Asociados and Draftworldwide. From 2002 he began to work as freelance illustrator and created some excellent comics for the French and Spanish markets, like the renowned “Silhouette”, while working for publishing houses like McGraw Hill, Grupo Anaya and Bruño.
