Born in Laos in 1974, Loo Hui Phang grew up in Brittany. She writes theatre pieces and illustrated books for kids, as well as scripts for short-movies, cartoons and comics.
Including drawings from Jean-Pierre Duffour, she is already published by Casterman (“Délice de vaches”, “Merveilles de bricolage”, “Jouets plus ultra”) and Hachette (“Bienvenue au collège”, “Tout seuls”). She elaborated her “Panorama” by Atrabile using Cédric Manche’s drawings.
Her first album closely related to comics and illustrated by Jean-Pierre Duffour is “La minute de bonheur”, by the small collection of Patte de Mouche de L’Association. She has just completed for Hughes Micol a very dense scenario about a mutation involving deep psychological consequences; “Prestige de l’uniforme”, in Expresso collection by Dupuis Editions.
