Lucien Meys was a scenario-writer and artist for the magazine Tintin in the 1960s and 1970s. He drew the ‘Krazy Kat’ inspired gag series ‘Le Beau Pays d’Onironie’, as well as ‘Chroniques de l’Heureux Zélu’. He was however mainly a scenario-writer. He created ‘Mongwy’ with Francisco Coria and William Vance in Femmes d’Aujourd’hui. With Vance he also created ‘Rodric’. For Dino Attanasio, he wrote countless gags of ‘Modeste et Pompon’, as well as some episodes of ‘Spaghetti’.
