Having studied ethnology at Nanterre’s Paris X university, Anne Sibran turns her hand to writing, producing a novel (“Bleu Figuier” published by Grasset), and comic books.
Her script “Quartier évanoui” for Tronchet, published by Glénat in 1994, is devoted to the theme of elderly people, who are expelled from their homes but still put up a good fight in spite of everything.
She develops a similar theme, but in a much more exotic setting, for Emmanuel Lepage in “La Terre sans mal” for the prestigious “Aire Libre” collection of Éditions Dupuis in 1999.
