Ducobu is a lovable clown, a bit of a rascal, and notoriously lazy. A “quality” that is not without its downsides… You have to be smart to avoid the humiliating dunce’s hat! And, of course, his neighbor Leonie knows everything about everything. But this little madam detests copy-cats… so making eyes at Leonie won’t get him the answers, leaving Ducobu with no choice but to invent ever-more ambitious cheating strategies. Brilliantly intelligent and full of imagination, Ducobu could of course study just a little bit… but that would be too easy! With a collection of irresistible gags, Godi and Zidrou have created a touching series, and a true ode to freedom and imagination.

Biography & Memoirs
A new Emile Zola biography through the eyes of a woman, Alexandrine. A person in the shadows, she plays a considerable role in the intellectual life of the writer of one of the biggest literary, political, and social sagas of the second half of the 19th century: Les Rougon-Macquart.
An abandoned child from the poorest of the working class, Alexandrine tells him the story of her miserable life, the story of the dreadful underbelly of Paris, and Zola, whose literary aspirations had yet to find a subject, uses this portrait of infinite decline.
Melaine Marcaggi and Alice Chemama deliver a work of writing that’s sensitive and well researched, accompanied with watercolor drawings which are reminiscent of the impressionist paintings of the era.
