A little town called Aldea, in the 1920s. The isolated inhabitants of this area still cling to the beliefs of an older world, a heritage that may go back as far as the Middle Ages. Some believe that, when night falls, dragons come out to rule the mysterious forest near the village… This village is the home of Artemisa, a 12 years old girl who develops an inexplicable attraction to the moon. Along with her little brother, and with Lambrijo, a strange child who knows how to talk to animals, Artemisa goes in search of a magical amulet in the forest. But while venturing into places forbidden to children, they expose themselves to great dangers… and their expedition will take a tragic turn.
