England, 1837. Captain Briggs’s ship the Mary Celeste is berthed in the port
of Dover. The British authorities are in search of men—in exchange for a
reward—to help find the two famous ships, the Erebus and the Terror, which
disappeared more than a year ago during an exploration of the Artic. Briggs
decides to take up the rescue mission, except when he and his crew arrive in
Inuit territory, they come across a ghost ship, too little to be either the Erebus
or the Terror. The strange events that follow push the captain and his crew to
