Alisik wakes up in a cemetery. She soon realizes that no living soul
can see her: Alisik is dead. Worse, she is stuck between Heaven
and Hell, awaiting the judgment of Mr. Mortis, who is late for his
appointment. While she waits, she and her new friends – all stuck
in the same in-between situation – will have to save the cemetery
from destruction. To do so, she’ll seek the aid of the young, attractive,
blind Ruben, the only person who can hear the dead.
