Ancient Greece, Athens. Following an unfortunate act, the famous architect
Daedalus causes the death of his nephew and must flee to Crete. When he
arrives on the island, he discovers that the throne is coveted by three brothers,
including Minos. Minos calls on the god of the oceans, Poseidon, convinced
that he will conjure a bull from the ocean, thus designating Minos as the new
monarch. The prediction is fulfilled, Minos becomes king! But Minos does not
keep his promise to sacrifice the bull once he is on the throne.
In revenge, the god of the oceans has the queen and the bull mate. From this
unnatural union is born a child, half-man, half-beast, the Minotaur! Devastated,
Minos entrusts him to Daedalus and his companion, a slave named Naupacte,
trying to bring a semblance of love to this cursed child’s life with the help of
their daughter, Ariane… but the murderous impulses of the Minotaur, now an
adult, push the architect to hide him in a mysterious dwelling at the bottom of
a labyrinth…
However Theseus, with the help of Ariane, will end up killing the creature
alias… Asterion…
