Created for the exhibition dedicated to Georges Brassens held in the City of Music, this album is comprised of a melange of text, illustrations and numerous comic pages. The result is not only the ultimate biography of Brassens, but also the enhanced catalog of the exhibition, presenting unpublished documents, such as photographs and manuscripts, unearthed for the first time since the singer’s death in 1981. Joann Sfar has seized this extraordinary material to draw the work, life and philosophy of the much-adored singer.
