As everyone knows, on January 20th, George « Doubleyou » Bush — up till then the leader of the United States and the free world — left us to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
What will he do after he leaves the White House? We’ve put this question (sarcastically and without regrets) to a number of our finest satirists: Vuillemein, Luz, Jul, Aranega, Nix, Bouzard, and others. Here, in thirteen short stories, they bring us their views on the presidential legacy, their suggestions for his future (fishing and angling, or some gentle retraining?), and their thoughts on the election of his successor.
The concept for this book was developed before the outcome of November’s American election was known. But it hardly mattered who would succeed him : the scheduled departure of « Mister President » deserved to be saluted (if only with an enormous sigh of relief). The authors we recruited – professional provocateurs, most veterans of either the merciless media or the impudent bande dessinée – have enthusiastically entered into the game, each in their own style, in stories of two to seven pages.
