Little Claude is 14 years old. Too old to be a child, too young to be a real adult. One Wednesday during the September holiday, Little Claude is bored and he has nothing to do. So he just hangs around the “fortifs”, where those rejected by society live. He wanders down the streets and stops in front of cinemas and newsstands, where the illustrated magazines that allow him to dream are piled up.
