Lucky Luke is back in this surreal, Monty Python-style, comic adventure from Bouzard. Jack Dalton (or is it William? Who can ever really tell them apart?) has gone on hunger strike in prison. Lucky Luke is called in to solve this latest in a long line of headaches caused by the Daltons. But he’s also got a more important problem to deal with: Jolly Jumper is in a bad mood with him despite his best efforts to win his faithful steed over. With all this going on, Lucky Luke will experience a true existential crisis which will make him a very lonesome cowboy indeed.
