Everyone is bored stiff today. It’s plain to see. The adults watch the kids and
the kids watch the adults. I watch everybody and decide it’s high time to do
something about it. In order to save this afternoon from disaster, I announce:
“Oh bother! Dinner isn’t ready yet and our guests will be arriving any minute.
We must make them the most delicious dish the world has ever seen.” I’m met
with stunned looks. What? I don’t want to have to explain the whole darn thing.
The key is to express yourself. Shall I continue?
