All ages
Every reader of Tintin Magazine will be familiar with Tibet’s caricatures. Always the joker, he loved to capture people’s faces and then deform them hideously, to hilarious effect. When brought together in a collection, these drawings are a genuine visual tribute to the golden age of comic books. From Morris to Hergé, from Belmondo to Cloclo… in black and white or in colour, but always in his distinctive ‘ligne claire’ style, the author of ‘Chick Bill’ and ‘Ric Hochet’ (with Duchâteau) has worked on many different comics. As a tribute to the late artist, Le Lombard reopens the treasure chest that was ‘La Tibetière’.
